Electronic Keypad with Override Key
Featuring an electronic lock, the SentrySafe X125 is simple to set up and operate. Once you install four “AA” batteries (not included), you’ll be able to program the safe to open using any two-to-eight-digit passcode that you choose. Red, yellow, and green LED lights guide you through the process.
Two override keys that will open the safe without use of the passcode are also included, so you’re ensured access to your valuables even if you forget your code or the batteries in the keypad run out.

For the cost this is not bad. Metal, solid, nice shelf, felt bottom. The opening and closing handle is plastic (the only down side) BUT, for the price I can not complain
Not worth the time - D. Halem -
I spent a lot of time researching small safes, and I ordered this one with some hesitation. The safe arrived damaged, with the door hinge bent so badly I could not even get it open without a lot of effort. The construction is cheap and the tolerances are poor. This time I’m going with Mesa Safe Company Model MHRC916E Residential and Hotel Electronic Burglary Safe, Cream.

I bought two of these x125 safes from Amazon. Installed the first one, tested locking and opening it a couple of times and then put all my valuables, passports, etc. inside. Now it won’t open and the override key will not open it either.
So, thinking to look at the insides of the second one for clues as to how to break in, I unpacked the second safe for the first time, only to find that I cannot open this one either, brand new and straight out of the box. Again, the override key does not work. Furthermore, the keys for the two safes are identical, which suggests pretty low security standards, although seeing as the keys don’t work anyway I guess it makes little difference…
Obviously, with 100% failure on our two purchases our initial reaction was that we had to be doing something wrong, but several people have studied the manual and noone can open either safe with any of the keys provided. We are now trying to decide the best way to break our new purchase open.
Do yourself a favor and do not buy a Sentry safe.

Very difficult to open door of safe once combination has been entered. Door sticks and handle is shaped in such a manner as to make it very difficult to enable a firm grip with the fingers.(the concavites in the handle are not of sfficient depth)
